Whats your latest purchase?

My wife's laptop died of motherboard failure so we are using my oldish msi laptop with a 5400/7200 spindle drive in it. Finally got tired of slow boot times etc so picked up a WD blue 1tb ssd drive to pop in. Should make a big difference.

Distroplate for the 011 that was on clearance.

And princess auto scratch and dent sale is dangerous. Walked out with a mini arc/tig welder for just over $200

Grabbed a used Raleigh Rowdy 24” bike for one of my kids. I didn’t want to break the bank on this bike size, as I suspect it will only be 1-2years before another size up is required. Nice shape other than the chain needing a good clean.

Omg Halloween candy what a surprise what that cost nowadays, we have been in an apartment downtown for so long didn't need to buy any, So I and the wife had a budget of 200 and I wasn't happy when I saw how little she got for it. I mean it should get us through but wow your dollar doesn't get you what it use to.
Yeah it's bad when a single pack of 100 lil Candy's is $15 it adds up fast I managed to spend $400 over period of 3 weeks if they don't cancel Halloween kids will be happy on my street.

Wow! You're diving into the deep end there ST. I wish you wellness.

Thanks Valkyrie!
Hard to believe years ago I was shy, introverted and reserved.
Now , ZFG, I'm out in the world to create content for people. I can't count the number of streamer videos that have helped me in games, via directly or indirectly.
Now I get a chance to be that help. I'm not going to go half measures on it, that's for sure.

A pack of 5 3' Cat6 cables to clean up the Wall'O'Wires a bit.

Added to that.... 2X 1', 2X 1.5', and 1X .5'. Spent a total of $30 on cables, but I'm reasonably certain I've got all the bases covered for the neatest possible routing.

Also grabbed a 5 port Ubiquiti switch. ($36 w/ free shipping is a pretty decent price for a "managed" switch)
