Oblivion Remaster

I definitely had a steam account when it came out. However that point in time I (and many others) were not 100% onboard with the idea of digital only copies of games and for a while after that point I had focused more on physical copies for a while yet. Used to be a lot of cool collectors editions now too... modern collectors edition here is a PDF of art and a collection of MP3s that made up the sound track.

It was a year or two before I started using Steam. Think I bought retail package of fallout 3 as well.

I did buy Remaster and is DLing. Will give me something to do when visiting my parents next week.

Pretty sure I've got a physical Oblivion disk kicking around somewhere, but I also grabbed the GOTY edition off of GOG and did a full run through a few years ago with heavy Nexus mods applied.

I'll probably grab the remaster as well.

Where did you buy it from? I'm not seeing it on steam yet (I don't think the original is on steam).

edit: Nope, it's there, but I'm not seeing the remaster.

Both are on steam. Link in first post for remastered

Original

Definitely had the original 360 release on disc. I know I got the steam version some time later.

Did the original PC release come with a steam key or a 'games for windows' (or whatever it was called then) key? Fallout 3 came with a games for windows key IIRC, but I'm not sure about oblivion.

I don't know where my disk is, but my bet would be games for windows.

Dirty deed is done..... looks like the deluxe edition has some DLC (other than the soundtrack I could care less about) so I grabbed it instead of the base one.

Now the question is.... do the giants still launch the mammoths into space?????

No giants in Oblivion, so you'll have to settle chesty-spider goth chicks instead?
