^^^^ Damn...still waiting for my Asus AC680U Router back ordered ;(
You are the second person to recommend those. They really worth the money?
I hate to say this but this thread has gone off the rails a bit.
From looking at statistics, the AVERAGE price of a newly purchased PC these days is....$686.
The OP's system rings in at nearly 3 grand. To me, that's "over the top" and pretty awesome.

Why do people still think that price equals good? When a motherboard can cost $300 and a gpu can cost $400 it doesn't take long to add up to a $3,000 computer.
IMHO "Over the top" is a relative term. It means so many different things to different people that discussing it in this way is futile.
OP your build looks good. As for SSD what about a Plextor 512GB SSD M5 Pro Xtreme?
EDIT:
If I was you I would change a few more things or atleast these changes would make your build "over the top" in my mind.
Audio: full 5.1 HT system. I moved from Edifer S730's to a full on HT setup at my computer. I love it!
Cooling: I am not a WCing freak but I would take the H220 over the H100i anyday. Perhaps not "OTT" but very good.
RAM: 4X8GB
Monitor: I would wait for Gysnc there is no doubt. 2560X1600 with gsync.
