My brother bought a pair of Cornwall IV on his 50th and no matter how hard I tried I just could not get on with the sound. Klipsch is too harsh of a sound for me.
Pretty sure all klipsch use horns as opposed to tweeters.

I feel the exact same way. Klipsch just sounded a little to harsh to me too... spent hours in a stereo store listening to everything. My brother bought a pair of Cornwall IV on his 50th and no matter how hard I tried I just could not get on with the sound. Klipsch is too harsh of a sound for me.
Those Cornwallis are $5k per speaker. Eventually he got a very expensive tube amp that tamed the speakers.I feel the exact same way. Klipsch just sounded a little to harsh to me too... spent hours in a stereo store listening to everything.
Geeze. And I thought I went way over budget for speakers... But I do actually sit and listen to music regularly. And once in a while I need to drown out a neighbour's choice of pop/rap. This may or may not be applicable but room Acoustics plays a large part in how a speaker sounds? In my audio/video room I built my own wall mounted acoustic panels and I tell you it's worth it!I feel the exact same way.
