I've had the Embody for 2 weeks so I'll give more thoughts on it. It is very customizable. Back support tension, tilt, tilt resistance, height and adjustable seat depth. It took me a very long time to find a comfortable setting.
To the opposite of what I thought, increasing the back support tension was way more comfortable. Supposedly tightening it is for straight backs, and loosening it is for more curved back. I found that having it loose put too much pressure on lumbar and it felt like I was getting stabbed by plastic. Compared to an Aeron, I would say about 50% back tension would be similar to it. If you increase tension it gives way more upper back support. Lean back, you get support. Lean to the side, you still get support. The back of the chair always puts light pressure everywhere.
Arm rests are leaps and bounds better than the Aeron. They go higher than the Aeron, thus forcing my shoulders back. They also go crazy narrow, is if you are doing a lot of type touching, you could do so while supporting your elbows and not putting as much pressure on your wrists.
The seat is more comfortable than an Aeron but don't expect like a plush 'executive' style chair. My butt does get sore w/ extended sessions in it. Just yesterday I noticed that I could extend the depth of the seat. By extended it more of my legs are supported. It can reach my knees now, so less pressure on your butt/tailbone.
One issue I had was it sits too high even on the lowest setting. Because of this I couldn't have the arm rests as high as I wanted. Resolved this by raising the height of my desk by putting casters on it (was going to do this anyways).
Plus it looks SICK.
