The "What book are you reading" Thread

Looking at the cover art on those Travis Baldree novels makes me wonder if there's a small cadre of artists who do the majority of fantasy book artwork. They look awfully similar to other fantasy books I've read/seen.
Most authors have zero control over cover artwork. It is pretty messed up.

The artist is Carson Lowmiller. Which I don't see many other books he has done art for. Has done video game artwork as well as some MTG.

I've been reading a lot of Adrian Tchaikovsky and just started the last book from the, The Final Architecture, trilogy...Lords of Uncreation. my ability to speed read has been coming back SLOWLY since the bump to my head 27 years ago...but I've gotten as far as I have on these in about 5 days.

Adrian Tchaikovsky is a machine, he consistently puts out great fantasy and sci-fi.
